LEADERSHIP
Our officials are elected by members of the MEAM Communications & Energy Services Subcommittee and serve a two-year term. Officer elections are held every other year at the December MEAM-CES meeting (odd years). In addition, there are two Member-at-large positions that are elected each year.

ABOUT US
The MEAM Communications & Energy Services Subcommittee (MEAM-CES) meets regularly to share and monitor information about energy and customer services, public communications, and key account management and to offer suggestions in these respective areas to Members when appropriate. Additionally, the subcommittee members research new programs, services and training opportunities designed to enhance the value and efficiencies of members in their respective communities. The MEAM-CES subcommittee reports to the MEAM Executive Committee.
The Municipal Electric Association of Massachusetts (MEAM) is a statewide association formed in 1953 and includes all 40 municipally owned electric utilities in the state. Its purpose is to render to its members technical, accounting, financial, purchasing, counsel and other services particular to the operation of electric utilities in Massachusetts. MEAM advocates and promotes the highest possible efficiency in system management and provides its members with mutual aid during emergency conditions.
MEMBER UTILITIES
MEAM membership consists of the 40 municipal utilities operating within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Communications and Energy Services professionals from all MEAM member utilities are welcome to participate in MEAM Communications & Energy Services Subcommittee meetings and events.
